Job Description

Responsibilities

Purpose of Role

Support the Corporate Communications Manager in content development, digital communications, multimedia production, and corporate communication initiatives while gaining practical experience in the communications profession.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development and Storytelling

  • Assist in developing written and visual content for internal and external communication channels.
  • Support the collection and organisation of information, stories, and communication assets from various departments.

Digital Communications

  • Support the maintenance and updating of website and digital communication platforms.
  • Assist in preparing and publishing content across relevant digital channels.

Multimedia Production

  • Assist in photography, videography, and basic multimedia production for organisational activities, events, and campaigns.
  • Support the management and organisation of digital media assets.

Publications and CommunicationsProjects

  • Support the development of corporate publications, reports, and communication materials.
  • Assist in coordinating communication projects and tracking timelines.

Internal Communications and Events

  • Support employee engagement and internal communication initiatives.
  • Assist with communication-related activities during organisational events and campaigns.

General Support

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for corporate communications activities and projects.
  • Undertake other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.

Skills and Attributes

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with content creation, design, photography, videography, or digital media tools would be an advantage.
