Tanera Transport Hiring! Full Time Accounting Specialist (Night Shift) in WP Kuala Lumpur, Earn up to MYR 5,000 - Ricebowl

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• This role requires overlap with US business hours, so the working schedule is 9:00 PM–6:00 AM local time, five days a week.
• 2+ years in AR, AP, collections, billing, or reconciliation (open to strong candidates with less).
• Experience with US clients or international accounts is a strong plus.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping is a plus, not a requirement.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in an accounting/ERP system.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to communicate directly with US-based customers and vendors.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning a full-cycle process with minimal supervision.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Manage a portfolio of US customer accounts: invoicing, payment application, and collections on past-due balances.
• Build AR aging reports and drive down days sales outstanding through proactive follow-up.
• Evaluate credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customers, and recommend changes to management.

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Run weekly payment cycles across bank transfer, check, and online payment platforms, in line with vendor terms.
• Code invoices to the correct GL accounts; reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain complete, audit-ready AP records.

Logistics & Shipping Finance

• Reconcile carrier and steamship-line statements of account; investigate and resolve outstanding items.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, carriers, and overseas teams on billing and payment questions tied to freight and shipping activity.

Reconciliation & Close

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close for AR/AP, and prepare reporting for management and auditors.
