Make-A-Wish Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Chief Executive Officer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Make-A-Wish Malaysia, a charity organisation registered with Registrar of Societies Malaysia, and a full affiliated of Make-A-Wish International since 2010, is looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer. The existing CEO is retiring after having served since 2014.

About Make-A-Wish Malaysia:

At Make-A-Wish, we believe in the transformative Power of a Wish, a journey of empowerment that inspires strength and builds resilience to help critically ill children and their families cope with the medical battle. Over the years, we have granted over 1,300 wishes and brought joy back into the lives of very sick children and their families.

We work with doctors from hospitals in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Perak, Johor and Kota Kinabalu to reach eligible children across Peninsula and Sabah. With our office based in Bangsar, the small operations team is supported by dedicated volunteers across Malaysia. 

Job Purpose: 

To build on the strong foundation and legacy established by Make-A-Wish Malaysia’s current leadership, continuing to advance the organisation’s mission and bring the Power of a Wish to more critically ill children across the country. The CEO will provide strategic and organisational leadership, nurture relationships with key stakeholders, strengthen sustainable funding and resources, and inspire the dedicated team and volunteer network to ensure more eligible children can experience the hope, strength and resilience that a wish can bring.
