Scope of Position

Corning Optical Communications APAC Marketing team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing Intern to provide hands-on support for regional marketing activities across the Asia-Pacific region. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about B2B marketing in a global organization while assisting the team with planning and execution of marketing campaigns, conducting market research, supporting content development, and account-based marketing initiatives focused on engaging new customer segments. The intern will work under the guidance of the APAC Marketing team and contribute to day-to-day marketing tasks, and coordination activities that support business growth and customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Content Creation and Localization

  • Assist in developing marketing content such as social media posts, email campaigns, and marketing communication related promotional materials
  • Support the localization and adaptation of marketing collateral for various Asia Pacific markets
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and consistency
  
  

  Event Support

  • Help organize and coordinate logistics for marketing events, webinars, trade shows, and customer engagement activities
  
  

  Market Research

  • Conduct research on industry trends in APAC, competitors’ marketing activities, and customer needs to support marketing strategies and campaigns
  
  

  Digital Marketing

  • Assist in digital marketing campaigns, website optimization, and paid advertising initiatives
  
  

  Data Analysis

  • Collaborate with the team to analyze marketing campaign data, track campaign performance, and generate actionable insights
  
  

  Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Communications, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  
  

  Administrative Support

  • Handle administrative tasks such as updating marketing calendars, updating customer database, and organizing delivery of product samples
  • Provide support for other marketing initiatives as needed
  • Participate in team meetings to share progress, insights, and ideas for improvement

Required Attributes

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in an Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa, etc.) is an advantage
• Creative and analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and design
• Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. LLMs, generative AI chatbots, or AI assistants, social media, email marketing, Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels (LinkedIn, YouTube) is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with design and video editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive, willing to learn and able to work independently
• Passionate about marketing, interest in technology and IT infrastructure are advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with diverse, cross-functional teams
