Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers.

Proficient in understanding and executing boiler operation procedures, including startup, shutdown, and normal running conditions.

Demonstrated experience in performing routine boiler maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Strong knowledge of steam generation principles and the ability to monitor and control steam pressure, temperature, and flow rates.

Thorough understanding and strict adherence to all relevant safety procedures and regulations pertaining to boiler operation and maintenance.

Experience with boiler water treatment processes, including chemical dosing and monitoring, to prevent scale formation and corrosion.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs related to boiler systems.

Familiarity with relevant Malaysian safety standards and environmental regulations for industrial equipment.

Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaen with colleagues, supervisors, and external parties.

Operate and monitor industrial boilers to ensure efficient and safe steam generation according to production schedules and operational parameters.

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on boiler systems, including checking water levels, pressure gauges, safety valves, and associated equipment.

Monitor water treatment processes to maintain water quality and prevent scale formation or corrosion within the boiler system, adhering to established chemical treatment programs.

Respond promptly to boiler operational issues, diagnose malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulations related to boiler operation, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and emergency response protocols.

Maintain accurate logs and records of boiler performance, maintenance activities, water treatment results, and any operational incidents.

Conduct regular safety checks and drills for the boiler house and ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.

Assist in the training of new personnel on boiler operation and safety procedures as required.
