Role Description

The Talent Sourcing Specialist / Talent Sourcing Manager / Talent Sourcing Lead identifies and engages potential candidates to support recruitment priorities. Responsibilities include researching talent markets, developing search strategies, conducting outreach, assessing candidate interest, and maintaining talent pipelines with recruiters and hiring managers.

The Specialist focuses on candidate research and engagement. The Manager oversees sourcing teams, resources, and performance, while the Lead guides search methods, supports complex hiring needs, and coaches colleagues to improve sourcing quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in candidate sourcing, recruitment research, talent mapping, or talent acquisition.
• Ability to translate role requirements into targeted searches and candidate profiles.
• Proficiency in Boolean search, professional networks, recruitment databases, and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong outreach and relationship-building skills for engaging active and passive candidates.
• Ability to assess candidate relevance, communicate opportunities accurately, and maintain clear records.
• Understanding of fair sourcing practices, candidate confidentiality, and responsible handling of personal information.
• Ability to analyse sourcing measures such as response rates, qualified candidates, and pipeline conversion.
• For manager positions, experience leading teams, allocating resources, and aligning sourcing plans with hiring priorities.
• For lead positions, experience directing complex searches, improving research methods, and coaching sourcing colleagues.
