We are seeking for motivated and detail-oriented Fire Protection Design Engineers to support our building and infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The successful candidates will assist in developing fire protection system designs, preparing technical drawings, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure that design deliverables meet project specifications and applicable fire safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop fire protection system design drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Assist in designing fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, hose reels, wet risers, hydrants, and other relevant firefighting systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection where required.
• Coordinate fire protection designs with architectural, structural, ACMV, plumbing, and other M&E disciplines.
• Review and update drawings according to project specifications, design changes, and coordination requirements.
• Identify potential design clashes and assist in resolving technical issues.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, fire safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Work with project team members to meet design submission deadlines and project milestones.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems, firefighting systems, or M&E building services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant fire protection design and drafting software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other relevant engineering design tools is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
