Job Summary
The position is responsible for supporting daily store, inventory, purchasing, and administrative operations at the Central Kitchen. Key duties include receiving and checking deliveries, managing stock in the general store, chiller and freezer, maintaining FIFO/FEFO practices, issuing stocks, updating inventory records, and monitoring stock availability.
The role also involves entering customer orders into the Food Market Hub (FMH) system, coordinating with suppliers on orders and deliveries, conducting monthly stock counts, and maintaining proper documentation such as POs, DOs, and invoices. This position is suitable for a fresh graduate with good organizational, communication, and basic Excel skills who is willing to learn and handle both administrative and store-related responsibilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Duties
- Receive raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies delivered to the Central Kitchen.
- Verify received items and quantities against the Purchase Order (PO) and Delivery Order (DO).
- Check the condition, quantity and expiry dates of items upon receiving.
- Label and arrange stocks properly in the general store, chiller and freezer.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO when arranging stocks.
- Keep the store and storage areas clean and organized.
- Assist in issuing stocks to the respective departments.
- Key-in customer orders into the Food Market Hub (FMH) system.
- Monitor stock movement and update stock records accordingly.
- Check stock availability and highlight items that require replenishment.
- Follow up with suppliers on order and delivery status.
- Conduct monthly stock count and submit monthly stock count records to Finance.
- Maintain proper filing of PO, DO, invoices and other documents.
- Assist in preparing DOs and invoices when required.
- Assist with general administrative work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fresh graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
- No prior working experience required; training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to learn and handle both administrative and store-related duties.
- Detail-oriented and responsible when handling stock and documentation.
- Able to work in a Central Kitchen environment.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
