Position: Manufacturing Technician

Contract 12 months renewable based on performance

Location: Taman Perindustrian Batu Kawan, 14110 Simpang Ampat, Penang

MUST HAVE DIPLOMA:

1. Install and commission new equipment and production lines

2. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure, install, and integrate tooling, fixtures, and equipment

3. Perform equipment qualification, validation and prepare detailed technical reports

4. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment issues

5. Respond promptly to downtime events to minimize production interruptions

6. Conduct electronic troubleshooting, including PLC programming and hardware interfacing

7. Develop, document, and execute preventive maintenance procedures for assigned processes or areas

8. Fine tune the equipment parameters to ensure smooth operation and improve yield

9. Design, specify, manufacture, test and document equipment modifications and improvements

10. Support process optimization initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency

11. Provide feedback and recommendations for long-term equipment improvements

12. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment validation and technical changes

13. Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational guidelines and regulatory requirements

14. Hands-on technician skills with proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment

15. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
