Associate (Corporate / M&A) | 1-3 Years PQE

Location: Singapore

Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong global presence and an outstanding reputation for advising multinational corporations, private equity funds, financial institutions, and high-growth businesses on complex cross-border transactions.

Key Requirements

• LLB or JD degree from a reputable law school in Singapore, the UK, or the US.
• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Corporate and M&A matters.
• Experience gained from a reputable local law firm, Magic Circle firm, US law firm, or international law firm.
• Strong exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, corporate advisory, joint ventures, and related commercial matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and international environment.
• Demonstrates sound commercial judgment, attention to detail, and logical thinking.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist with transaction structuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and ancillary documents.
• Provide corporate advisory support on company law, governance, and regulatory matters.
• Work closely with partners and clients on complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
