Location: Kempas

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate AutoCAD / CAD drawings for heavy and oversized cargo transportation.
• Prepare trailer configuration and axle-line drawings for modular trailers, low loaders and specialised equipment.
• Prepare cargo loading, positioning, securing and transport arrangement drawings.
• Review cargo dimensions, weight, centre of gravity and transport requirements.
• Prepare transport drawings showing overall height, width, length and ground clearance.
• Assist with load distribution, axle load and trailer configuration planning.
• Assist Operations and Route Survey teams with route clearance and obstruction checks.
• Incorporate route survey, cargo and site information into transport drawings.
• Prepare and update GA drawings, technical sketches, transport plans and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with Operations, Project, Engineering, customers and equipment suppliers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Attend site visits, cargo inspections or route surveys when required.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, records and project documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in drafting, heavy haulage, transportation, heavy lifting or related engineering work.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of multi-axle modular trailers and heavy haulage operations is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, fabrication and cargo drawings.
• Good understanding of dimensions, weight distribution, clearances and basic engineering principles.
