About the role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hospitality-driven Part-Time Barista / Server to anchor our morning service team. This hybrid role requires a professional who blends specialty coffee expertise with proactive floor support. Besides executing premium beverage orders, you will actively take guest orders, run food, and deliver seamless service support in our boutique dining room.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage the morning beverage station, calibrating equipment, dialing in espresso grinders, and crafting premium specialty coffee to established brand standards

• Welcome guests warmly, provide detailed menu explanations across our food and beverage offerings, and accurately input orders into the POS system

• Efficiently coordinate with the kitchen team to run hot food and beverages to tables, clear empty plates, and maintain a highly responsive floor presence

• Maintain precise inventory controls over coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bar supplies, flagging restocking requirements to management as needed

• Ensure strict compliance with local health and safety regulations by keeping the bar area, coffee machine, and guest seating areas flawlessly clean and sanitary throughout the morning shift

• Handle minor guest feedback on the floor promptly and courteously, escalating larger operational issues to the manager on duty

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years of active barista experience in a specialty coffee shop or high-standard restaurant setting

• Demonstrated experience handling both coffee preparation and front-of-house table service seamlessly

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact positively with morning guests and team members

• Ability to maintain focus, speed, and accuracy during busy morning rush hours while multi-tasking effectively

• Complete availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Strong English proficiency is required to deliver a polished guest experience
