Roles & Responsibilities:
The Sales Executive will be expected to:
- Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Follow up with existing and prospective clients to identify business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand client objectives, event requirements, and project expectations to provide effective event solutions.
- Provide professional consultation and recommendations on event concepts, execution strategies, and project feasibility.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Manage event projects from initial briefing through execution, completion, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, including design, production, and operations departments, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, venue management, shopping malls, and other external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor event setup progress and ensure all activities are executed according to project timelines and client expectations.
- Handle last-minute changes, operational challenges, and onsite issues professionally and efficiently.
- Proposal & Budget Coordination
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and project cost estimates for clients.
- Align client budgets with operational requirements and project feasibility.
- Work closely with internal departments to monitor and control project costs.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting company gross profit expectations.
- Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure all departments are aligned and fully prepared before event setup and execution.
- Attend site visits, venue inspections, rehearsals, and project meetings when required.
- Prepare post-event reports, project updates, and feedback summaries for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience within the event management industry.
- Experience managing roadshows, mall concourse events, product launches, brand activations, exhibitions, and corporate events.
- Strong understanding of event workflows from project conceptualization through setup, execution, and dismantling.
- Excellent client servicing, relationship management, and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable managing onsite event operations independently.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Calm, adaptable, and composed under pressure during event setup and execution.
- Client-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
