• Possess a valid Competent Chargeman AO (Low Voltage) Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.

• Possess a valid Wireman PW4 Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST), Malaysia.

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, building services, industrial facilities, or data centre environments.

• Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical systems, switchgear, generators, transformers, UPS systems, and electrical protection systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Own transport and willing to travel or be stationed at project sites when required.

• Experience in Data Centre, Commercial Building, Industrial Plant, or Critical Facility operations will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.

• Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance works comply with Energy Commission (ST) regulations and safety requirements.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generators, and associated systems.

• Monitor electrical system performance and maintain operational records and reports.

• Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergency situations promptly.

• Supervise and coordinate electrical works carried out by contractors and subcontractors.

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and project teams regarding electrical matters.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
