About the Role
We're looking for a Junior Project Engineer to support the delivery of Smart Factory, MES and APS projects for manufacturing customers. You'll work alongside the Project Leader, Business Analyst and development team across the full project lifecycle, from requirement workshops to go-live on the shop floor.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career in manufacturing technology. We want someone who follows through, not just someone who passes messages around.

What You'll Do

Project Coordination

• Support the Project Leader in planning, scheduling and tracking project milestones
• Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items
• Keep track of open issues and risks, and make sure nothing is dropped
• Coordinate between customers, the internal team and other stakeholders
• Prepare weekly status updates and project reports

Requirements & Documentation

• Participate in requirement workshops and document what was discussed
• Prepare first drafts of BRD and Functional Specification sections under the BA's guidance
• Map customer business processes and production flows
• Track change requests and keep project documentation up to date

Testing & Go-Live

• Prepare UAT test scripts and coordinate UAT sessions with customers
• Log defects, follow up with developers and verify fixes
• Collect and prepare master data for system setup
• Prepare training materials and user guides, and support end-user training
• Provide on-site support during go-live and hypercare

Customer Support

• Act as a day-to-day contact for customer users during implementation
• Respond to queries and escalate issues to the right team member promptly

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Manufacturing or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of experience in software implementation, business analysis, project coordination or a manufacturing role (strong fresh graduates are welcome)
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English with customers
• Strong willingness to learn
• Willing to travel to customer sites, including occasional multi-day site stays

Good to Have

• Strong analytical and logical thinking
• Exposure to MES, ERP, APS, industrial automation or Industry 4.0 projects
• Basic understanding of databases, APIs or system integration
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes
• Exposure to GMP, GAMP 5 or computer system validation
• Familiar with basic project tracking (project plans, issue lists, change requests)
