Job Description

Responsibilities

We are a vision AI pickleball company in Singapore, currently in stealth. We build computer vision for pickleball courts, and our first product is about to go live on courts.

We also run a community of about 5,000 players with social sessions, beginner nights and mixers. The crew is where our product meets real players first.

As our founding intern, you will be the voice of the crew, make newcomers feel like regulars by their third session, and run our first court deployments. You can grow into a lead role on the team.

Responsibilities

Your week splits across running the community, telling its story, and getting our vision AI product live on courts.

Community (about 40% of your time)

  • Welcome every new member within 24 hours and pair first-timers with a regular at their first session.
  • Run the WhatsApp and Telegram groups: session sign-ups, reminders, house rules, and keeping the chat friendly.
  • Host at least 2 sessions a week on court: check-in, rotations, introductions, photos.
  • Plan one bigger moment a month, such as a mixer, a ladder night, a beginner clinic or a charity round robin.
  • Spot members who could become hosts and help them run their own sessions.

Marketing and content (about 40% of your time)

  • Set up and run the crew's social channels on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Post 3 to 4 times a week: rally clips, member stories, session recaps, beginner tips.
  • Film short player interviews and session clips on your phone, and edit them the same week.
  • Keep a simple content calendar and a monthly numbers sheet.
  • Build partnerships with venues, coaches, paddle brands and cafes near courts for prizes, discounts and co-hosted events.
  • Turn court trials and player feedback into content once the product launches.

Court deployments (about 20% of your time, growing)

  • Own the rollout at each trial court: agree the install date with the venue, brief staff, and be on site on launch day.
  • Get players using it: run demo sessions, recruit crew members as first testers, and collect feedback after games.
  • Track usage and feedback per court in one sheet, and bring the top issues to the product team every week.
  • Be the venue manager's go-to person, and close the loop when something breaks.

This is a founding role, and we want it to grow. After 6 months, a strong founding intern can step into a lead role: running community and court deployments across venues, and helping pick who joins next. Pay and title grow with the role.

Qualifications

You are the person who remembers everyone's name and still gets the video posted that night.

Must have

  • You play pickleball, or another racket sport, and you love the social side of it.
  • You have run a community, club, CCA or events before, even a small one.
  • You can shoot and edit short videos on your phone with CapCut or similar.
  • You write short, warm messages people actually read, and you are at ease walking a venue manager or a stranger on court through something new.
  • You are free on 2 weekday evenings or weekend slots most weeks.
  • AI-native

Nice to have

  • A personal Instagram or TikTok with content you are proud of.
  • Contacts at Singapore venues, coaches, brands or school sports clubs.
  • Comfort with Canva, Google Sheets and simple numbers.
  • Interest in sports tech. You will see a stealth vision AI product before anyone else does.
