South Beach Boardies is looking for confident, outgoing people to join our Singapore retail team.

We're an independent Australian beachwear label creating colourful, comfortable clothing with a focus on sustainability and ethical production. Our shops are small, welcoming spaces where great customer service and a relaxed atmosphere go hand in hand.

We're looking for people who can bring energy and personality to our stores, connect naturally with customers and help turn browsers into buyers.

The opportunity

We're offering flexible retail positions for approximately 1–3 days per week at our Cluny Court and Joo Chiat Road stores.

This could be a great fit if you're studying, have other commitments or simply want a few regular retail shifts each week.

You'll often be working independently, so we're looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, can confidently approach customers and knows how to make the most of sales opportunities.

A typical day with us

• Start conversations with customers and help them discover products they'll love
• Recommend styles, sizes and features to suit different needs
• Actively contribute to store sales through helpful suggestions and add-on purchases
• Learn about our products, fabrics and sustainability story so you can confidently explain what makes them different
• Handle purchases, exchanges and other customer enquiries
• Keep displays looking fresh, inviting and well stocked
• Receive deliveries, replenish products and assist with inventory checks
• Take responsibility for keeping the store tidy and running smoothly during your shift
• Assist with occasional pop-ups, promotional activities and special retail events

Who would suit this role?

Personality and attitude matter just as much as previous experience.

• Have the confidence to approach customers rather than waiting to be asked for help
• Enjoy selling and are motivated to achieve good sales results
• Can work independently, use initiative and stay productive during quieter periods
• Are dependable, organised and take pride in their work
• Have an interest in fashion, travel, beachwear or sustainable products
• Can work some weekends and busier retail periods

Previous retail experience is an advantage, but we're happy to consider enthusiastic applicants with the right attitude.
