About the role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented 3D Jewellery Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating creative concepts and client briefs into precise, manufacturable 3D jewellery models using Rhino 8 application.

Key responsibilities

• Design and model jewellery pieces (rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, bangles, etc.) in Rhino 8, ensuring accuracy in proportions, stone settings, and wearability

• Translate hand sketches, mood boards, or client references into detailed 3D CAD models

• Generate accurate technical drawings and specification sheets for production (weight estimates, metal type, stone count/carat weight)

• Prepare and optimize 3D files for 3D printing / wax printing and casting

• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and production teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and manufacturable

• Make design revisions based on client or internal feedback in a timely manner

• Maintain an organized library of design files, templates, and components (shanks, prongs, clasps, etc.) for reuse and efficiency

• Stay updated on jewellery design trends, materials, and CAD software advancements

• Ensure all designs comply with quality standards and production feasibility before handoff to manufacturing

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, Gemology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Proficiency in Rhino 8 or similar program is mandatory

• Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, polishing, electroforming)

• Good eye for design aesthetics, proportion, and detail

• Ability to read and interpret sketches, technical drawings, and client briefs

• Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Good communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams

• Prior experience in a jewellery manufacturing or retail brand environment

• Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator for presentation purposes
