S & P Industries Hiring! Internship Accounting Intern in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 800 - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP)

•  Perform supplier invoice data entry.
  • Review supplier journal entries and payments in the ERP system.
  • Perform General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledger reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

•  Issue Debit Notes (DN).
  • Review Invoice and Credit Note (CN) journal entries and receipts in the ERP system.
  • Perform General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledger reconciliations.

Cash Management

•  Perform regular bank reconciliations.

Fixed Assets

•  Assist in capital expenditure management and fixed asset recording.
  • Participate in physical fixed asset counts.
  • Perform GL and fixed asset register reconciliations.

Inventory Control

•  Participate in monthly physical stock takes.

Ad-Hoc Support

•  Execute any other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills & Requirements:

• Soft Skills: Positive working attitude, highly detailed, responsible, committed, and a strong team player.
• Work Ethic: Ability to multitask, learn quickly, apply new knowledge, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel). Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Mobility & Travel: Must be willing to travel to our manufacturing plant in Bagan Datuk, Perak for monthly physical stock takes or whenever required.

Educational Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
