• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, System Administration, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in server, storage, virtualisation, or infrastructure support.

• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, storage systems, backup, and Active Directory.

• Experience in server troubleshooting, VM support, storage monitoring, backup/restoration, and incident resolution.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and provide technical support.

• Good communication and coordination skills when working with users, internal teams, and vendors.

• Preferring candidate who can start immediately.

A) Server Administration & Maintenance

• Manage, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure (Windows/Linux).

• Perform regular system health checks, patch management, updates, and preventive maintenance.

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of server systems across production and development environments.

B) Deployment & Configuration

• Plan and execute server installations, configurations, and upgrades based on business needs.

• Configure and maintain server roles and features such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, etc.

• Support deployment of virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and optimize virtual environments.

C) Security & Backup

• Implement and maintain server security standards, including access control, firewall settings, and antivirus solutions.

• Ensure regular and reliable server backups, perform recovery tests, and support disaster recovery planning and execution.

• Monitor for vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches or mitigations.

D) Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor server performance metrics and proactively address system bottlenecks or failures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues (hardware, software, OS) in a timely manner.

• Work with vendors and support teams for escalated issues and critical incidents.
