Requirements
Requires at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent qualification.
Possesses 2 years of working experience in material handling or a similar role in a manufacturing/production environment.
Proficient in warehouse operations, including inventory management, dispatch, and receiving of goods.
Able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently (forklift certificate is an advantage).
Adheres strictly to workplace safety procedures.
Capable of working within the SAP system for inventory management and stock records.
Possesses good teamwork skills and can communicate effectively in English.
Willing to work on a 12-hour shift system (day and night) in Benoi Sector, Singapore.
Responsibilities
The Materials Handler (12 hours shift/12 months contract) is responsible for performing regular inventory counts and yearly physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records, including assisting in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records, ensuring restocking shelves and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Department reporting to the Materials Supervisor and is located in Benoi Sector, Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Carry out inbound receiving, production order picking, outbound dispatch, and cycle count activities accurately and in a timely manner to support operational and production requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency through material handling, stocktaking, documentation control, SAP system transactions, and compliance with warehouse safety, quality, and operating procedures.
Deliver exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating a customer-oriented mindset, strong teamwork, flexibility, patience, and professionalism while operating in a fast-paced warehouse environment
