Requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons of the Aurum Theatre and ensure a positive and memorable movie-going experience
- Handle food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently including preparation / assembly and presentation of items according to GSC standards
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for order taking and payment processing including cash handling and credit card transactions with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas including counters / dining spaces and preparation stations in line with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members to manage workflow and support colleagues during peak hours and ensure smooth overall operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members by addressing inquiries and resolving issues and providing information about menu items and promotions
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or operational challenges promptly and effectively
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes and ensure timely service for movie showtimes
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including those related to food safety / customer service and operational standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings / weekends and public holidays as required by the demands of a cinema environment
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items by providing detailed information about food and beverage offerings including ingredients and potential allergens
- Accurately take customer orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure all details are captured correctly to minimize errors
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items according to established recipes and quality standards while maintaining a high level of presentation
- Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately and provide correct change and receipts to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter / dining areas and food preparation stations in line with strict hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment and a positive customer experience
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally by employing problem-solving skills to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Restock inventory including food supplies / beverages and service materials to ensure availability and prevent stockouts
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including those related to food safety / customer service and operational efficiency
