Self-taught musicians are welcome. Music qualifications and teaching or performance experience are a plus, but not essential.

Show us your musical ability through a practical demonstration. No previous teaching experience is needed. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons suited to each student's level and goals.

- Prepare lessons, monitor progress and maintain accurate teaching records.

- Communicate professionally with students and parents through approved school channels.

- Help students prepare for assessments and performances where relevant.

- Support school recitals, concerts and reasonable teaching-related duties as scheduled and agreed.

- Keep teaching areas and equipment ready, tidy and safe, and follow school safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.

Requirements

- Able to commit at least three days weekly, including at least one weekend day.

- Able to play drums confidently, with a willingness to learn how to teach.

- Patient, reliable and comfortable teaching children and adults.

- English communication skills to deliver lessons and discuss progress with students and parents.
