Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Registered with MAHPC and holds appropriate practising credentials
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience
• MSCP membership preferred
• Experience working with adult clients across emotional, behavioural, relational, and psychological concerns
• Couple and family work experience preferred
• Competent in clinical assessment, interviewing, case formulation, intervention, and report writing
• Able to work independently and manage cases within scope of practice
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Committed to ethical, professional, and evidence-based practice

Job Scope

• Conduct clinical interviews, psychological assessments, and collateral interviews
• Develop case formulations and collaborative treatment plans
• Administer, score, interpret, and report psychological assessments within competency
• Provide individual therapy for adults, and couple/family interventions where appropriately trained
• Apply evidence-based interventions and monitor treatment progress
• Provide psychological feedback and psychoeducation to clients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and assessment reports
• Identify and manage clinical risks in accordance with professional and centre procedures
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and relevant professionals where indicated
• * Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards

*Compensation: Commission-based per session (locum basis)
