Role Description The Studio Assistant internship is an on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. The Studio Assistant will support day-to-day studio operations, including preparing materials, setting up and cleaning workshop spaces, and assisting facilitators during classes. This role involves welcoming and guiding participants, answering basic inquiries, and helping maintain an organized, safe, and comfortable studio environment. The Studio Assistant may also support studio documentation through basic photography, assist with social media content, and help with research for new workshop ideas and studio improvements.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with studio participants and team members in a professional, friendly manner.
• Photography skills for documenting workshops, studio activities, and artwork for promotional or archival purposes.
• Research skills to support the development of new workshop concepts, studio processes, and materials sourcing.
• Interest or background in Art, particularly ceramics, painting, or other hands-on creative practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to perform both creative and routine tasks.
• Comfort with basic cleaning, organizing, and manual tasks in a studio environment.
• Previous experience in a studio, gallery, retail, or hospitality setting is an advantage but not required.
