Job Description

Responsibilities

Are you excited to be part of the team behind the AI & Family Office Summit hosted by the Private Family Society on 5 October 2026 in Singapore?

We are hosting a curated, invitation-only gathering bringing together 100 Family Office principals, CIOs, and practitioners for a full-day program covering AI in Family Office operations, private markets allocation, and cross-border structuring - followed by a cocktail reception.

Real practitioners. No product pitches. Peer-level dialogue.

If you aspire to be around those already in industry and learn, this would be a great event to intern at!!

About the role

Private Family Society (PFS) is hosting its inaugural symposium for the family office and private wealth community in Singapore. We are bringing on a small group of university students as Event Assistants for the symposium week. This is a short-term, experience-based role: it does not carry a salary, and the value to you is direct industry exposure, mentorship, professional networking, and a letter of reference on completion

What you'll do

Working under the direction of PFS staff, you'll support event delivery across three defined stages - setup in the three days before the symposium, the event day itself, and wrap-up at the close of that day. Your responsibilities include preparing and coordinating presentation materials and slides, guest reception and ushering, attendee assistance, and supporting our family office guests, sponsors, and the PFS team throughout the day

Availability required

You must be available for the full symposium day, from setup through close, and for the previous day immediately before the event to help with preparation. Exact dates and hours are confirmed with selected students / interns. To be specific, the time required is Sunday 6pm 4 October - Monday 7pm 5 October, 2026

Who this is for

Current university students in finance, wealth management, economics, business, or a related field, who are dependable, professional, and comfortable interacting with senior guests in a formal setting. Prior event experience is welcome but not required

What you gain

First-hand exposure to the family office and private wealth industry and its practitioners, professional networking, a reference letter from the PFS team, and practical insight relevant to your studies

Remuneration

This is a learning assignment due to the tremendous opportunity to derive industry knowledge and value which is typically unavailable. Hence it is an unpaid attachment beyond the learning experience
