Role Description The Marketing Communications Intern will support the planning and execution of marketing and communication activities for exhibitions and related events. This internship role is on-site and based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with drafting press releases, preparing marketing materials, coordinating social media and digital content, and supporting public relations initiatives. The intern will help maintain consistent messaging across channels, conduct basic market or media research, and assist with administrative tasks related to campaigns and events. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic exhibition environment and opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Public Relations.
  • Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms used for marketing communications is beneficial.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting and demonstrate a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable using common office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software).
