Colony and Jerry are looking for a Social Content Intern who can take an idea and turn it into a finished piece of content, from concept and shoot to edit and caption.

You’ll create for two very different brands: Colony Coworking Space & Events and Jerry Coworking Space, working directly with our marketing team on real campaigns, shoots, events and creator collaborations.

What you’ll actually do

Your main focus will be social content creation:

• Plan, shoot and edit Reels, TikToks and other short-form content
• Spot trends and turn relevant ones into ideas for Colony and Jerry
• Shoot spaces, people, events, behind-the-scenes moments and creator visits
• Write short, sharp captions that fit each brand’s voice
• Create simple supporting visuals using Canva
• Review how your content performs and learn what to improve next
• Contribute ideas to our content calendar and campaigns

You’ll also get exposure to:

• Creator and KOL collaborations, from identifying suitable creators to coordinating shoots
• Community management across comments and DMs
• Working with our Operations team to prepare locations for shoots
• Basic campaign and performance reporting
• The wider marketing mix, including performance marketing, SEO and PR

We’re looking for someone who

Already creates content.

You should be able to show us examples of short-form content you’ve personally worked on, whether for a brand, university project, club, freelance project or your own account.

You don’t need years of experience. You do need:

• A good eye for framing, lighting, pacing and visual details
• Confidence shooting and editing short-form video
• Familiarity with CapCut, Canva or similar tools
• A strong feel for TikTok and Instagram content
• The ability to write captions that sound natural, not corporate
• Curiosity about what makes people stop scrolling
• Good organisation and follow-through
• Confidence communicating with creators, guests and teammates
• Initiative (you’re comfortable bringing ideas instead of waiting to be told exactly what to make)
• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or AI editing tools to work more efficiently

You’ll need your own laptop and smartphone suitable for content creation.

Bonus: You’ve shot interiors, events or people before, understand basic social analytics, or have worked with creators or brands.

This is a hybrid internship. We typically meet in person at least once a week, with additional on-site days depending on shoots, events and what the team is working on.
