Job Summary

Join Dame as a Part-Time Kitchen Crew to support food preparation and kitchen operations during busy periods, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food by washing, chopping, portioning, and labelling ingredients accurately to support kitchen operations
• Assist chefs by supporting basic cooking and managing hot and cold kitchen stations during service
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation to meet food safety standards
• Follow established food safety protocols and kitchen procedures consistently
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant kitchen experience
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work reliably and punctually in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and eagerness to learn
• Availability to commit at least 15 to 20 hours per week

Operation Hours

• 10am to 7pm

Compensation

• Monday to Friday: $13/hour
• Saturday to Sunday: $15/hour
• Public Holidays: $18/hour

Work Commitment

• Minimum 15 to 20 hours per week
