Role Description The Operations Assistant is a contract, fully remote role based in Singapore. The role supports daily operational events activities, including coordinating schedules, managing office and project logistics, and maintaining records and documentation. The Operations Assistant helps streamline operations by navigating vendors, tracking leads and tasks, preparing reports, and assisting with events management and grant process improvements. This position also involves liaising with internal teams and external partners, handling basic customer service inquiries, and ensuring smooth execution of events, meetings, and community initiatives. The role requires a proactive approach to solving operational issues and supporting the organization’s ocean-focused projects.

  • Strong operations and operations management skills to support daily workflows and project execution.
  • Analytical skills to track data, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with team members, partners, and community participants.
  • Ability to work travel in Southeast Asia, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, document management, scheduling systems).
  • Prior experience in operations, administration, or project support roles is preferred.
  • Track record in environmental sustainability, social impact, or ocean conservation initiatives is an advantage.
