About Jam

Jam is a Malaysian content commerce company that works with brands, creators and platforms to create engaging content and drive sales through livestreaming and social commerce.

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Content & Video Editing Intern to join our team. You will be involved in producing short-form video content, editing social media videos and supporting content production for Jam and our brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and other social media platforms.

• Create engaging videos with subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music and graphics.

• Edit KOL, livestream highlights, product reviews, campaign videos and behind-the-scenes content.

• Ensure videos are delivered according to the required timeline and quality standards.

2. Content Production

• Assist in filming and shooting content for Jam's social media channels and brand campaigns.

• Support on-site content production, including livestreams, KOL shoots and events.

• Capture creative moments, trends and behind-the-scenes footage.

• Assist in developing content ideas and adapting trending formats for social media.

3. Social Media & Creative Support

• Stay updated on TikTok trends, viral content formats and social media trends.

• Research references and propose creative ideas for upcoming content.

• Assist in preparing content materials, storyboards and basic shooting plans.

• Work closely with the content and creative team to execute campaigns.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Multimedia, Film, Broadcasting, Digital Media, Marketing or related fields.

• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.

• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video content.

• Creative, detail-oriented and willing to experiment with new ideas.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.

• Photography or graphic design skills are an added advantage.
