Part-Time Piano Teacher (Weekday Afternoons & Evenings)

Soundsteps Music Academy is looking for a passionate and reliable piano teacher who enjoys working with children and wants to grow within a structured teaching environment.

Location: Bukit Timah Shopping Centre

Availability Required
- 2-4 weekday afternoons/evenings (3pm-9pm)
- Additional availability is an advantage

Please note that student schedules take time to build and fill. This role is best suited for candidates seeking a long-term teaching opportunity rather than immediate full teaching hours.

Requirements
- ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (or equivalent)
- A diploma (any polytechnic diploma is fine)

Preferred (some or all of the following)
- ABRSM Grade 5 Theory (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of piano teaching experience
- Experience teaching children
- School or pre-school music teaching experience

- Able to follow structured curriculum and lesson plans

Training & Development
Successful candidates will undergo:
- Online training modules
- Written assignments
- Mock teaching sessions with the school owner
- Curriculum familiarisation and lesson observation

Commitment
- Minimum commitment of 1.5 years
- Willingness to grow with the school and maintain consistent teaching availability

Pay will be based on qualifications, experience, teaching ability, and assigned teaching load.
