Job Summary

You will conduct ballet and contemporary dance lessons for children, inspiring their appreciation of dance and music, preparing them for performances and exams, and building strong relationships with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ballet and contemporary dance lessons tailored for children aged 3 and above to develop their skills and appreciation of dance
• Inspire students to engage with diverse dance and music genres through passionate teaching
• Prepare students effectively for performances, class presentations, and examinations to achieve artistic growth
• Build and maintain positive rapport with children and their parents to support student development
• Maintain discipline in classes to create a focused and respectful learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate both ballet and contemporary styles, ideally incorporating RAD syllabus experience
• Manage weekend teaching schedules to meet program requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Dance Diploma as a professional qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience teaching both contemporary and ballet dance styles, ideally with RAD syllabus familiarity
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive discipline and motivate young children in a learning environment
