Job Requirements – Security Guard

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience as a Security Guard is an added advantage.

• Physically fit and in good health, with the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.

• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.

• Good observation skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.

• Basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and incident reporting.

• Able to maintain accurate records, including visitor logs, vehicle registers, and daily security reports.

• Responsible for monitoring and controlling the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.

• Able to perform routine patrols and safeguard company property, assets, and personnel.

• Honest, disciplined, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• No criminal record and able to provide supporting documents if required.

• Willing to comply with the company's safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.

Job Responsibilities – Security Guard

• Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.

• Conduct routine patrols of the company premises to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.

• Inspect bags, vehicles, and personal belongings when required in accordance with company policies.

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment, and report any irregularities immediately.

• Maintain accurate records of visitor registrations, vehicle movements, and daily security activities.

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, and other unusual situations.

• Report all security breaches, suspicious activities, and incidents to the Security Supervisor or Management.

• Enforce company security policies, safety regulations, and access control procedures.

• Assist during emergency evacuations and ensure emergency procedures are followed.

• Protect company property by preventing theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized access.

• Coordinate with relevant departments, contractors, and emergency services when necessary.

• Ensure security posts, guardhouses, and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and operational at all times.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management from time to time.
