The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering our client, a famous Tech MNC
• We are looking for a Planning & Strategic Project Consultant
• The role will start out as a contract
• Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred

The Talent

• Qualification in Engineering or Business disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, project management or business process improvement preferably in a multinational or regional environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple markets or geographies.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good understanding of product development processes and the ability to work effectively with technology teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen, resourcefulness, and ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
• Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, from understanding the big picture to managing implementation details.
• Ability to produce hands-on deliverables, including requirements, project plans, status reports, training materials, and rollout plans.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial, organised, and results-oriented, with strong ownership of outcomes.
• Comfortable working with systems, tools, and databases.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Consulting firm experience would be a plus (eg. in strategy consulting, operations consulting, etc)
• Project management certification such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certification would be a plus
• Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools would be a plus

Job Description

• Manage regional initiatives that improve operational efficiency and partner experience across Southeast Asia.
• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on project execution across regional operations and product initiatives.
• Identify and prioritise initiatives that improve operational efficiency and the experience of partners.
• Lead regional projects involving country, regional, product, and functional stakeholders.
• Standardise and harmonise country-specific processes and requirements using practical 80/20 principles.
• Facilitate workshops to identify pain points, define problem statements, map processes, and design improvements.
• Drive process re-engineering, automation, and technology-enabled operational improvements.
• Support the development of partner-related policies and behaviour-shaping initiatives.
• Develop project plans, requirements, process maps, governance materials, status reports, training materials, and implementation updates.
• Drive regional product rollout plans from requirements definition and market readiness through piloting, launch governance, training, adoption, and post-launch feedback.
• Coordinate country rollout activities, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure local teams are prepared to implement new products and processes.
• Partner with product teams to translate operational needs into functional requirements and scalable solutions.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
• Prepare and present recommendations and progress updates to senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with business, operations, product, and technology teams.
