Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (WP. Kuala Lumpur)

Working mode: Hybrid

Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000


Working Hours:

Mon - Friday: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Saturday and Sunday: off

Position Overview:

The HR Manager (Talent Acquisition) is responsible for overseeing recruitment across all of the company’s brands. This role involves building and optimizing the hiring system, leading the recruitment team, and ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. The manager focuses on creating a data-driven, efficient recruitment process that supports the expansion of over 30 campuses nationwide. The ideal candidate has extensive end-to-end recruitment experience, strong channel management skills, and the ability to independently handle the full hiring cycle from stakeholder alignment to offer negotiation.


Responsibilities:


Recruitment Strategy & Planning:


  • Develop annual/quarterly hiring plans and talent maps for all brands
  • Anticipate expansion needs and proactively build talent pipelines
  • Manage recruitment budget, controlling Cost per Hire


End-to-End Recruitment Execution & Management:


  • Lead recruitment efforts for management and hard-to-fill roles
  • Standardize hiring processes (JD writing, resume screening, interviews, background checks, offers)
  • Develop structured interview questions and evaluation criteria


Channel Development & Employer Branding:


  • Expand recruitment channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, campus hiring, headhunters)
  • Build and promote an internal referral program
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives


Team Management & Process Optimization:


  • Lead and develop the recruitment team
  • Utilize data and analytics for hiring decisions and reporting
  • Drive digitalization of the recruitment process (ATS/system enhancements)


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support:


  • Communicate regularly with hiring managers to improve satisfaction
  • Coordinate with HR functions (compensation, onboarding, training)
  • Support payroll and performance review processes as needed


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including 2+ years managing a recruitment team
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, especially for mid-to-senior and management roles
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, job platforms, and ATS systems
  • Strong data analysis skills to guide recruitment decisions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
  • Responsible, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (preferred for liaising with Singapore HQ and Malaysia team)
