At least 2 years of working experience in the automotive field

Knowledgeable in automotive (operations)

Possess a valid driving license

Diligent, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication skills and customer-friendly

Receive customers and identify car issues based on complaints or symptoms described.

Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle together with the customer before handing it over to the mechanic.

Prepare job sheets / repair orders with details of the problem, work to be done, and customer requests.

Communicate with mechanics or technicians to obtain diagnosis results and repair recommendations.

Explain the issues to customers in simple, easy-to-understand language rather than overly technical terms.

Prepare quotations for labour costs, spare parts, and recommended services.

Obtain customer approval before mechanics carry out additional work or replace spare parts.

Make ethical recommendations and upsell where appropriate, such as engine oil/servicing, brake pads, batteries, alignment & balancing, suspension, and preventive maintenance.

Monitor the progress of workshop jobs and ensure work is completed within the promised timeframe.

Update customers in the event of delays, additional damage, or cost changes.

Perform a final check before handing back the vehicle, including ensuring the requested work has been completed.

Explain the invoice and work done when the customer collects the vehicle.

Follow up with customers after service to ensure the car is in good condition and the customer is satisfied.

Manage customer service records so that maintenance and repair history can be easily referenced in the future.

Help achieve the workshop's sales targets, including labour sales, spare parts, servicing, and repeat customers.
