Role Description

The Priority Banking Associate / Priority Banking Advisor / Priority Banking Relationship Manager supports affluent clients with banking services and financial needs. Responsibilities include understanding client objectives, coordinating account services, explaining relevant products, maintaining records, and referring specialist needs to appropriate teams.

The Associate supports enquiries and relationship administration. The Advisor assesses needs and provides recommendations within their authorisation, while the Relationship Manager manages a client portfolio, develops relationships, and oversees service, retention, and business development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in banking, client service, financial advisory, or relationship management.
• Understanding of banking products, investment fundamentals, credit, and financial risk.
• Strong communication skills for explaining product features, costs, risks, and service processes clearly.
• Ability to identify client needs, maintain accurate records, and coordinate specialist support.
• Awareness of customer due diligence, suitability, confidentiality, and escalation procedures.
• Relevant licences, registrations, or professional qualifications appropriate to the jurisdiction and advisory responsibilities.
• For associate positions, experience coordinating client requests, documentation, appointments, and follow-up.
• For advisor positions, experience conducting needs assessments and making appropriately supported recommendations.
• For relationship manager positions, proven experience managing affluent client portfolios, building relationships, and achieving service and commercial objectives responsibly.
