German Swiss International School Hiring! Part Time Supply teacher - German Secondary Department in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The German Swiss International School (GSIS) is one of Hong Kong's leading international schools providing quality, holistic education to a multinational student body of approximately 1300 students and 240 faculty and staff. The school is organised into two Streams, German and English leading to qualifications in the German International Abitur and I/GCSE & IBDP respectively. We are inviting applications for the following position.

SUPPLY TEACHER – SECONDARY (GERMAN INTERNATIONAL STREAM)

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each child to achieve the highest possible standards. Experience in an International context is desirable. The selected candidate will be included in the supply teacher's pool at GSIS and will be required to teach as and when there is a need in these departments.

What is required and what we are looking for

• Teacher training (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
• Teaching experience in Secondary is desirable
• Excellent German speaker with sound written and oral communication skills
• Registered Teacher Status (Hong Kong)
• Culturally sensitive, tolerant and patient
• Positive work ethic, flexible, creative and parent/child oriented
• Positive, proactive and independent work ethic
