Manager
Ex-Employee, years in the role"Effective team members"
Every day at work is engaging for me as I have gained experience from the front of house to the back of house, from floor to kitchen, and at the management level. I have learned how to handle guest complaints, upsell products, and maintain good public relations with guests. I am responsible for arranging food and beverage menus, creating new menus for events and functions, as well as branch menus, promotions, and pricing. I also manage the Pinch Of Salt card rewards and birthday vouchers, upsell wine, and ensure the quality of food products in the kitchen. Additionally, I oversee restroom cleanliness, conduct bar counts, and provide staff training in various protocols and table settings. I also handle daily sales reports, coverage checks, costing, profit margins, and staff appearance and behavior.
Sales Assistant
Ex-Employee, years in the role"Provide brow grooming services"
Invite customers to discover a new product, explore its coverage area, and learn about new items and gadgets. Make new friends and meet a new supervisor. The biggest challenge is finding customers in a day and adjusting to the new environment.
Promoter
Current Employee, years in the role"Sales experience"
I have discovered methods to improve job efficiency. The most challenging aspect of my job is staying current with the latest information in order to effectively assist customers with problem-solving.
Assistant Chef
Ex-Employee, years in the role"I am seeking to enhance my skills and knowledge by working in Australia."
I am currently working a part-time job in Kuala Lumpur. The junior sous chef assigns me tasks for the day and I am responsible for completing them. The most challenging aspect of the job is the lack of manpower, forcing me to solve problems on my own or seek guidance from the junior sous. The most satisfying part of the job is when everything runs smoothly.
