About Yayasan Sarana Pendidikan Malaysia

YSPM was originally mooted in late 2013 at a meeting of leaders of PTAs of schools in Putrajaya to complement the efforts of the government of Malaysia to further lift the standard of education in Malaysia as outlined in the PPPM 2013-25. In particular, while the PPPM 2013-25 is very comprehensive, there are always areas where non-governmental organisations can play meaningful synergistic roles. One of these areas lies in the contributions of PTAs of schools.

 

YSPM was officially incorporated on 03 November 2014 as a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital. Its patron is the Minister of Education of Malaysia.
