About Weidmuller (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd

Southeast Asia (SEA) remains one of the most important growth regions for Weidmüller. 

Already in January 2018 we had taken over our largest distributor with the takeover of the Malaysian ConnectPlus Technology and thus strengthened our regional sales in a targeted manner. Now we are catching up with the local production capacities.

In order to be able to serve the markets in the SEA region even better and faster with products from our Division Automation Products & Solutions (APS), final test runs were completed at the beginning of December 2019 in a completely new greenfield production facility. 

On 450 square meters of office space and around 4,000 square meters of production and storage space, we are now had established our operations in Senai, Johor, Malaysia.

We had successfully run the production on PV Combiner box and now we are ready to focus on our new business in Customer Specification Assembly (CSA) which will be expecting to be run in year 2022.
