In November 2016, the administrator for Aurora Fashions, Kaupthing Bank, initiated a £100 million sale, marking a significant chapter in Warehouse's history.

The winds of change blew in April 2020 when both Warehouse and Oasis entered administration. Despite the best efforts, administrators were unable to secure a buyer, resulting in the unfortunate loss of 1,800 jobs. However, every end marks a new beginning.

In June 2020, Warehouse found a new home and a fresh start. Boohoo, a leading online retailer, acquired the Warehouse brand, assets, and stock, reuniting it with former sibling Coast. This reunion was part of Boohoo's broader strategy, having previously acquired the Karen Millen Group in 2019.
