Established in 1976, Waltex Corp is a second generation-run family business and distributor of wallcoverings, leathers and fabrics in Malaysia. The company was founded by Steven Cheong Siew Hong and today is succeeded by his son. A pioneer in the wallcoverings industry in Malaysia, Waltex Corp provides expert wallcovering consultation and installation services to design consultants, main-contractors, developers, fit-out contractors and homeowners.

Our clients include hotel owners YTL, IGB as well as award-winning interior design firms Denniston, BluWater, EDC and more. Our wallcoverings have been specified and installed in over 200 projects across Middle East and Asia Pacific including Burj Khalifa, St. Regis Hotel Bali, Tank Stream Hotel Sydney, Park Hyatt Ho Chi Minh City, Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur amongst hundreds of others.

Waltex Corp is also an active participant in the archinterior industry in Kuala Lumpur and has been a member of the Malaysian Interior Industry Partners Association (MIIP) since its birth in 2011. We are also a recipient of certificates of appreciation from the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers for sponsorship of after-event cocktails and support through advertising.
