In a highly academic and efficient work setting, as a teacher assistant, we do not have set hours but are expected to produce at least one Scopus paper per semester and help a professor with their educational duties. For example, I assist with the Oracle LAB for diploma studies.

- My experience at work has been positive, as I have learned valuable skills such as problem-solving, communication with suppliers and customers, computer skills like Microsoft Office, administrative tasks, and procurement tasks during my internship and part-time job. The workplace provides a good balance with facilities like a prayer room, designated prayer times, and lunch breaks. It is conveniently located near public transport and food options. The management is fair and provides clear reasons for their decisions, which helps me understand the company's strategies and standard operating procedures. The most challenging aspect of my job is handling the account department and dealing with financial matters and HR issues. The most enjoyable part is having long holidays for Hari Raya, access to prayer facilities, and working with a supportive and well-mannered manager.
