Job Description:

As a Collection & Recovery Executive, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, contacting customers to negotiate repayment, and ensuring effective debt recovery in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will play a vital role in maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing financial risks for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact debtors via phone, email, or official correspondence to remind and follow up on outstanding payments.

Negotiate and arrange repayment plans while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Review overdue accounts and identify appropriate recovery actions.

Liaise with legal teams, repossession agents, or external collection partners when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the system.

Provide professional and respectful customer service while handling sensitive financial matters.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management review.

Meet individual and team collection targets set by the company.

Escalate cases requiring legal or advanced recovery actions to the supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

At least 1–2 years of working experience in debt collection, recovery, or credit control (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered).

Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin or other languages is an added advantage).

Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and DMS systems.

Target-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Basic salary starting RM1,700 – RM2,200 (depending on experience).
