In this role, I conduct research independently as the sole research assistant for the project. All projects have deadlines that must be met. This has taught me to work efficiently and complete tasks on time as assigned by my project leader. The most challenging aspect of this job is competing with students for access to lab equipment on university grounds. Therefore, I must carefully plan my work to ensure there are no obstacles to meeting deadlines. Despite these challenges, I find this job enjoyable as it allows me to work in my field of expertise.
