Our current ventures
As we mentioned earlier, we want to build an ecosystem of happy people and success stories. Our first step is growing ventures which meet the following criteria * Can be launched to market under 3 months * Can hit positive cash flow under 6 months * Has a scalable, high-leverage business model * Has a large addressable market * Has an exit strategy in the horizon Although we understand the need to change course and tweak business models as a venture responds to the marketplace, we are also driven by measurable short term goals. We also like ventures which ride on our existing resources in the Malaysian / South-east Asian scene. Our first venture was launched in March 2008, called YouthSays.com Users join YouthSays.com to make their opinions matter. They take part in "Youth Council" discussions, get paid to do surveys, and meet other opinionated young Malaysians. YouthSays generates revenue by helping clients partner with the YouthSays community to design new products, discover insights to marketing campaigns and to ensure their success in the youth market. We've had 110,000 page views in the first 3 weeks of our launch and secured a list of big-name clients. The next 6 months will see the expansion of our opinion/ survey community building technology to other target markets in Malaysia, as well as other regions. Our upcoming ventures will involve building a series of valuable online media properties and brands, starting with YouthEcho.com We've already recruited a team of 120+ bloggers who will power Malaysia's largest youth-run press, blogging across 15 different channels of content. Each content Channel in YouthEcho will also aggregate related content in interesting ways, and play host to daily discussions. This is in live Beta right now at youthecho.com If you're interested in having these projects (and many upcoming projects) in your portfolio, let's talk.
