Despite our diverse backgrounds, my coworkers and I work together like a family. The most challenging aspect of the job is meeting unrealistic client expectations. However, the most enjoyable part is getting to taste all the delicious dishes after work.

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a luxurious five-star hotel known for its high-class amenities. I had the opportunity to work at Contango International Buffet Restaurant within the hotel, where I gained valuable experience. The restaurant was always busy and well-known in Kuala Lumpur. I learned how to effectively communicate with guests, handle busy periods, and provide excellent customer service. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience in Malaysia.

It was a hectic day, but I was able to handle it because there was sufficient staff in the department. I didn't learn much since I was only working part-time. However, I did learn tasks such as filling, creating name tags for new staff, giving tours to new employees or trainees, showing them the uniform room, cafe, and where to clock in and out. The management team was very friendly and supportive. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable work environment, especially since everything was located in one building instead of a resort.
