About Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
Symrise is a global supplier of fragrances, flavorings, cosmetic active ingredients, raw materials and functional ingredients as well as sensorial and nutritional solutions. With a market share of 11 % (2016), Symrise is one of the world's top three suppliers in the F&F market.
The approximately 30,000 products are primarily produced from natural raw materials such as vanilla, citrus, blossoms, plant or animal materials. Our flavor, substances, perfume oils and sensorial solutions usually form the central functional components of the end products produced by our customers – from perfume, cosmetics and food manufacturers to pharmaceutical companies and producers of nutritional supplements, pet food and baby food.
The three segments Scent & Care, Flavor and Nutrition are responsible for our operating business.
They each have their own research and development, purchasing, production, quality control, marketing and sales departments. Both segments operate in four regions with separate regional managements: Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME), North America (NA), Asia/Pacific (APAC), and Latin America (LATAM).
Flavor
The Flavor segment comprises the division Flavor. Flavor is divided into the business units Sweet, Savory and Beverages.
Nutrition
The segment Nutrition consists of the division Diana. Diana includes the business units Food, Pet Food, Nova and Probi.
The product spectrum of both Flavor AND Nutrition includes approximately 15,000 products, which are sold in 140 countries. They supply both flavorings and complete taste and sensorial as well as functional solutions which include functional ingredients, food colorings or microencapsulated product components in addition to the flavor itself, as well as ingredients for the market of nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical preparations, among others.
Scent & Care
The Scent & Care segment comprises the business units Fragrances, Life Essentials, Oral Care and Aroma Molecules. The segment’s more than 15,000 products are sold in roughly 135 countries.
Scent & Care supplies perfume oils, cosmetic ingredients, UV protection, aroma chemicals and menthol products.
